you mean alleppey bokaro express still does not have a pantry car??????

forgive me for focussing on this teeny weeny tiny detail in an otherwise great post - spent the first 16 years in ranchi with biannual trips to bangalore - and the only (godforsaken) way to travel was to hop on to (then) bokaro- madras steel city express, and then a connecting train to blore. after 2.5 days of travelling in the so called steel city express, we were like little beggars in the brindavan express, hogging everything they served right from tomato soup onwards and then still raiding the pantry car for dosas.... still amazed that the little sister and i seem to have managed to keep our sanity :-)
