they made a chinese/korean (memory is failing) movie like this recently - it's where they have accident specialists who stage hits and make them look like perfect accidents or acts of nature!!! Hmmm....
  • Dips · 2 months ago
Awesome! I liked your second Obama tweet better though :D
I hope the conspiracy that caused the tree to fall on you will be foiled soon

PS - you are not allowed to quote The Eagles... unless you speak in the same baritone.
  • sidin · 2 months ago
I wrote it with the exact same baritone.

ROFL all the way!! :D The reference to Neal in the end was the icing on the cake. Attaboy!!

And Sidin, all your faithful followers on Twitter are with you in this fight for truth, democracy, <other such highbrow drivel>
  • Ranjith · 2 months ago
hmm.... so I assume nobody saw me climbing down the tree and running away.
  • mihir · 2 months ago
alert!!!!!!!! your name is no2 on the list of most dangerous terrorist posted by America...
too bad it would have been wonderful had they caught you. someone on that list could have been claimed to be caught...

    nice story though.

we can sue the amercian centre under torts- abolsute liability! ...we can declare war against america for non declaration of placing hazardous objects or weaponds of mass desctruction (thier favorite word) in public places or better still sue them for millions and you could buy a country style villa in the bahamas and point your own nuclear weapons at the US...name the path and i shall have the notice delivered to BO.

good to know you are back at work-but do take it easy-the spine is a delicate lady

    ROFL!!

I had a similar experience with retrograde amnesia. Except it wasn't a tree that done it, but a few too many Glen Fiddich on the rocks ;)

"For the record this blog never broke up, it took a 12 week vacation"

Heh. Good one. I wonder how many people would get the reference, though.

Dear lord. With growing popularity it seems that the number of commentors on your blog using 'lulz smslingo xoxo' is increasing exponentially.
  • sidin · 2 months ago
    Don't be jealous.

You don't need to type what you want to say twice.

You don't need to type what you want to say twice.

No! Dont get that far, Americans are using US marines in disguise the Naxals from Chandanpur to plan such attacks.

But the Nobel Faf Prize is the most hilarious breaking news for this year.

    You mean a Treedator?
  • longblackveil · 1 month ago
Tooooo much, Sir Sid. Thank you, thank you, you are too funny. Hope your immobile neck heals comfortably along with achey back and assorted bruises. (Although from a purely selfish point of view, if physical injuries is what it takes to make you write hilarious nonsense like this... Dot Dot Dot...)
  • sidin · 1 month ago
Thanks. You are very very kind.
  • Shashi Kahpoor · 1 month ago
Very pedestrian engineering college humor. Sidin-this isn't what you should be writing. I will be a little different from all your fans and tell you that your style is slowly regressing-from smart satirical humor-towards the kind of humor found in Hindi Movies-repetitive, monotonous and tending more to slapstick. The brilliance of 'travails..' is clearly missing...Is writing for a newspaper affecting your style?
  • arzkiya · 1 month ago
"smiled and referred to only one close female relative as he rode off"...And thus do you know a propah Dilli-wallah.
This, my dear Sir, was bloody brilliant. Almost spilt my friggin guts out laughing!!
