    self humility seems to be back in fashion these days :)
    It charms like anything...easiest way to establish a connect with anybody...the people let down all their defences when communicating/reading/hearing somebody so self humilative...TRP ratings of jassi should be supportive of that :)

    gud reward for our wait... so i could laugh my heart out wen i came to office today.... that was real cool man.... though i went through the same story, I am sure i could never have said it in such a good way.. good post Sids...

    Oh man..U bring back nostalgic memories...Being 5'10" even in std 7, i remember trying out for triple jump.. And my distance was easily eclipsed by our school's star athlete in his long jump. N then there were these 110m (why that extra 10 mts i never understood) hurdles where i cleared just one hurdle in the fist seven and was so ashamed, i ditched the race midway (embarassed)

    hey ur javelin incident reminded of something similar that happened to me... This happened in the 8th standard, one of the guys had brought alongwith him a javelin. Having never thrown the thing before, but with the belief that I was the reborn ekalavya, i let rip... (with all the appropriate actions of running around 50 odd steps, a side-on approach) and regained conscious only after around 2mins.. it turns out that it is very essential that u move out of the way and let the tail end of the goddamn javelin thru.. :-)
